0-0 at half time. With no commentary it’s hard to accurately know how the game is going. According to ESPN Rushden have had four of the ten shots. The site of a missed shot from Ranks on the six-yard box line shouldn’t surprise us, but…
In other scores Kettering are losing (whay!), as are Northampton (whay!). Weymouth are leading against FGR, too.
The match ended 0-0, a respectable result against the team who, quite recently, had the league title in their sights. After the result, RDFC’s fourth game without defeat in a row, the Diamonds remain in 11th place. Kettering, however, are two minutes away from a 0-2 defeat to Cambridge. It will be their 5th game in a row without a win, and their fourth without a goal. And no, I’m not bitter!
Well done to all who made the trip. With just two games to go it would be great if Rushden could end their largely dissapointing campaign with a 5-game unbeaten run.
