1:38pm Rushden equalize through, with his 3rd goal in as many games, Sam Smith. Smith, a Kettering fan, denied to celebrate the goal.

1:53pm. An attendance of nearly 2900 is announced.

1:56pm. “Kettering Town dominated the first half, Rushden have dominated the second. Football has won today”. Full-time sees the score at full-time, with both sets of fans reasonably happy. The result sees both sides continue their unbeaten run, with Smith also continuing his scoring spree. The fans, by the commentators’ comments, did their club proud, while the players, coming back from a goal down, returned the favour.
