Woody aims for magnificent seven…

Curtis Woodhouse steps inside the ring again this coming week when he fights the undercard of Amir Khan’s next big fight. He will take on Wayne Downing, on Saturday the 21st of June, at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham.

This will be Curtis’ seventh profesional fight, and he will be aiming to make it seven wins in a row. Three of his previous wins have been won by a KO, but Downing is confident ahead of the fight. “I have been promised a Midlands Area light-middleweight title shot if I win and that is a big incentive.” The football connection continues, with Downing being a regular West Brom crowd pleaser.
