With Wrexham, Mansfield, Kettering and Lewes guarenteed to be joining the BSP next year, there are now just two more teams who can join them. Potentially, any two from Barrow, Telford, Southport, Stalybrige, Braintree, Eastbourne, Fisher Ath., and Hamtpton & Richmond Borough could make the trip up, via their respective play-off places.

Barrow 2-0 AFC Telford
Southport 1-0 Stalybridge
Braintree 0-2 Eastbourne
Fisher 1-1 Hampton & Richmond
After the first legs, both Barrow and Eastbourne hold 2-0 leads, and should be confident of holding out into the 2nd leg and progressing to the final, whilst the Southport/Stalybridge and Fisher/H&R ties are far from decided.
As it stands in the BSS, the table wasn’t lying. Eastbourne (2nd) are more than dealing with Barrow (5th), with Fisher and H&R, 4th and 3rd respectively, drawing after the first leg.
The scene isn’t the same in the BSN, with Southport and Barrow both leading over their higher placed rivals.

It is interesting to note that, of the 8 teams vying for promotion via the play-offs, only AFC Telford have an average attendance that matches the average attendance of the Blue Square Premier: 1797.
By the 9th of May, BSP fans will know who will be playing against them in the new season.
