Football round-up

With no game today, Rushden were able to enjoy a four day rest ahead of Tuesday’s tie with Cambridge.

Crawley Town 6 – 1 York
Stevenage 0 – 0 Exeter
Extraordinary results near the foot of the table means that Halifax and Weymouth are now in the relegation zones, while Northwich, Alty and Farsley are safe. The distance between 18th place and 22nd place is just 5 points.
Shock results up near the top of the table were also prominent today, with Torquay losing to Farsley, and Burton losing 2-3 to Grays. The latter means that, should Exeter defeat Stevenage tonight, Burton will lose their play-off position.
Kettering Town put three past AFC Telford today to ensure their promotion to the BSP, and seal their championship. Stalybridge, Harrogate and Southport all failed to win today, meaning that Kettering will be playing in the Conference next year.
